Six Months

It's hard to believe that half a year has already gone by with this sweet little monkey in our lives!

Here is Eleanor at just six weeks old...

And now at six months old...

Eleanor is getting so big! At her 6 month check-up, she weighed 18 lbs 4.5 oz (85th percentile), her height was 27.5 inches (95th percentile), and her head circumference was 17.72 inches (95th percentile). Her height to weight ratio was at 51%. She can almost sit up by herself and she loves rolling over. She hasn't quite mastered rolling tummy to back yet, so when she rolls onto her tummy she's pretty much stuck there until we help her out.

She is constantly doing baby crunches and working on her abs of steel. She has recently starting reaching for things: Kevin's beard, my face/hair, and she loves trying to grab her some Nemo! She is also constantly reaching for our plates and food and she is excited to start solids this weekend! When she watches us eat, we say "Mmm, solids!". She is a big fan of our made up games such as "Chunka-Chunka" and "Parachute Fun Time" (videos below!). She enjoys buzzing her lips, and has found a new high pitched baby voice that cracks us up.

Eleanor has the best chuckle. She'll pretty much laugh at anything if she's tired, and she finds it particularly hilarious when we surprise her. Here she is enjoying some antics in her new high chair:

Here are some photo highlights from the past month:

Going for a walk with Daddy
It's true!
This butterfly is awesome!
Daddy doesn't share food.

Unfortunately, Eleanor just caught the cold I've had for the past week, so we'll be taking it easy and recuperating for a bit. Until next time!
